Hello — we’re co‑founders of Qlychee and the joint authors of this blog.

We started QLychee because makers, designers and product teams repeatedly ran into the same issues: inconsistent wooden components, unclear specifications, and finish or material choices that didn’t hold up in production or retail. Combining hands‑on craft experience with practical manufacturing know‑how, we set out to provide thoughtfully engineered wooden elements, craft materials and reliable production support — from prototype to full production and export.

What we each bring

• Anwen — product development & production specialist: 10+ years in wood product design, CNC programming, fixture design and production planning. I focus on design‑for‑manufacture, prototype testing and keeping mass production true to the intended look and performance.
• Kaelen — sourcing & sustainability lead: experience in supplier management, material traceability and sustainable sourcing. I manage supplier audits, certifications and logistics to ensure timely delivery and alignment with sustainability goals.
